"let there be light part II"...better pics!
weather finally cleared up here and got to drive the vette with the new roof for the first time. I can't believe I was so stupid not to order this option when I got the car.. its absolutely awesome!!!

The thing that amazes me is how it looks like the stock painted black roof on the outside... of course, it's got 3 layers of zaino's z5pro and zfx on it now...LOL...

Can I call 1st Choice Disposal @ 540-658-0506 and tell them about a Hulk Hogan look-a-like with a vette that is stuffing human body parts in their bins?

When you are detailing that part fo the roof, do you treat it like a window, or polish it liek the body?

i swear everytime you post about your beautiful car, it makes me want to trade in my GTO for a vette.

it's the ONLY time i think of getting rid of my car. well, in a positive way, anyhow.

I ordered the car and my dealer found one exactly like i ordered at another dealer in VA and one in NC. The roof option was not specified in my order. i would'nt call it "a leftover". It sat at this other dealer, which was located in a very high income area of N.VA. for 3 months.. The yuppie rich boys only wanted 4LT's ups there.

The normal coupes and Grand Sports yes the targa is standard and fixed roof is not even an option.
Z06 and Zr1 are fixed roof only.

Did GM fix the problem of these things flying off at highway speeds?

yes..they told the owners to latch them........LOL...

actually, it was the roof of the z06 that delaminated.. not the coupe..
