GM Nationals at Carlisle June 25~27 2010

Gents,
Its time to get registered for the June 2010 Carlisle show. At the 2009 event, a combined CCGTO/GONE kicked ass to unseat the Impala guys from their long held position as the 1st place club award holder. Surprisingly, the Fireo club were a too close for comfort 2nd and with a little help from SVGTO we kept them in the rear view. Were gonna need the same level of cooperation to keep our "last ever Gen" 04~06 GTO's on top this year.

Red,

Thanks for getting this up for us and I will be there of course and this time I will actually have the "Banner". We will need the 1st Place Banner to go with that one also.

Pat,

You can help us encourage some of the Ohio/KY/WV/or further guys to make it over. I know the Pittsburgh crew will probably make it out for the whole weekend. We had a great time camping on the grounds. There was a 'special mark' put on the people there with our nights there. The people didn't care we were out there until the wee hours of the night doing our thing. I honestly believe they expect the same thing to happen this year.

As far as registration, there are 2 advantages to pre-registration. 1) It is $10 cheaper 2) It helps go towards our numbers in regards to the size/cost of the tent we get (which came in very handy for reasons stated above). However, by all means, do not let this discourage you if you are unsure due to other commitments about your participation. You are MORE than welcome to do your registration that day if you need to. So we want as many to preregister before the cut-off date as possible. Not to mention this makes your 'checking in' a lot quicker and painless. So many will do just the Saturday, but there will also be many who will do the whole weekend (friday-sunday). Just understand that your registration no matter what covers you all weekend. You will be able to come and go as you please. Park your car on the grounds and leave it if you want (we will watch it for you lol ).

This is a great show. There are ALWAYS "issues" at ANY show you may go to anywhere. This one is well worth the trip. Besides, we have a title to defend.

lol I believe Red and I were the stars of negotiations last year....

I will be posting a similar thread in the North East today to start our attendance push

You guys need to at LEAST try and stay Saturday night, that is when the fun is plus the awards show/car giveaway is Sunday afternoon.

Campsites are $25 for the entire weekend and if its anything like last year if we get a couple guys to get them we can fit everyone (Including Hank's hotel).
