Thanks for posting... I'd been meaning to check the VMP web site for PiTP info.

http://forums.performanceyears.com/f...8&postcount=15

The schedule is a bit strange but interesting;
http://www.virginiamotorsports.com/d...leResults.aspx

I'm in for at least 1 day.

Wow sounds like since GM is getting rid of Pontiac everyone else can just walk all over us now. Pontiacs start off the weekend on Friday, but then turn it over to PINKS on Saturday. Which by the way I hate mostly because of all the cry babies that show up on it. Then we get to have the track back again on Sunday, at least this time around the show is judged on the same day which looks to be Sunday. So looks like if I plan on this it will be only Sunday for me.

Last year was a good schedule. I guess Pinks brings in more $$$. I guess I will wait to see a more definite schedule of events. I didn't see any mention of an autox.

Congrats on the new job Tomcat! I may also have one, will know for sure next week.
Yeah, that is a screwy scheudle for PITP... If I make it at all I'll only be there on Sunday. the prior weekend is VIR, then we usually drive down to Pinehurst for a week of golf. Of course, if I do get a job I won't have any vacation time to take! Damn shame work has to get in the way of play time...

Dang Frank, Why take another job after that huge "golden parachute" from Wachovia. At your age, just retire and live in luxury, or plan B, find a job for your wife...lol

Sorry Dennis, I hadn't seen your post until now... Yeah, that is a great plan you are suggesting there! Not sure she will go for it though. By the way, the parachute had a big fat hole in it, but I did enjoy my time off anyway.

Rechecking the calendar, I can't come to the track Friday or Saturday... Saturday due to another event you might like. I plan to attend along with Cole from Yorktown. There's a Ferrari and GTO rematch of the fabled 1964 duel being held at the Williamsburg Winery. They will have a Ferrari car corral, and a Pontiac GTO one as well. Lots of top brass there (Jim Wangers, Dan Gurney, etc). Seems a very festive event. Here is a link for more info.

CCGTO,

Just over 2 weeks before this kicks off the season for us. Looks like I will only be going down on Sunday for just us Pontiacs. The usual meeting spot will be the rest stop on I-95 in Dale City, Va. Then we will depart and head south and stop again around Fredericksburg if anybody is down that way,,,lol. Hopefully We have a few of us going, I believe we had about 12 last year in our group maybe We could get a few more for the cruise down if anything so We can hit up the "Sonic" on the way back up,,,LOL.

SORry Pat, can't make this one. This happens to fall on my LAST National Guard weekend before I am done with the armed forces.

Hopefully you guys won't have any punk ass Impala SS' bothering the convoy this year.

I'm still up in the air a bit on this one. I was waiting for the announcement on when the WVU spring game is. They are having it on Friday (kind of odd, but oh well). So I will be in WV for Friday at least. Not sure exactly what I will be doing after that.

Hey Greg you want a Kenne Bell for your car? I am ready to throw mine in the trash and start over with something else. (I'm half kidding, I wouldn't throw it in the trash....)
