SLP Underdrive Belts

I just want to make sure that I am buying the right belts. The belts on the instructions are Gates #K060763 and #K040378 or equivalent. I went to Advanced Auto and had them look it up and they gave me Dayco 5060760 and Dayco 5040378 belts and said they were equivalent.

I was informed by someone on this board earlier that I should get belts #760K6 and belt #405K4.

The Dayco belts were 17.99 and 25.99, but when I looked up the other belts, they were 17.99 and 9.99.

I am wondering if the belts I just bought are wrong or if I can go back and by the other belts for cheaper?

Thanks in advanced.

I bought gatorback belts a few weeks ago from autozone. I think the total came out to be roughly $45. If you buy gatorbacks you need 4040405 and i believe 4060760. Might want to double check on the 760 but i am sure about the 4040405 for your ac belt. Although this is for an LS2 don't think it differs though.

Yeah, my total was 47 bucks. If I can go back and save 15 bucks though, I want to lol.

I believe you are looking at the wrong belt. Highly doubt a serpentine belt is less than 20 dollars

I got my Dayco belts from Federated. My part numbers are 5060760 and 5040405. I had no problems with these. I think your 378 belt may be wrong.
