P0016 Crankshaft position - camshaft position correlation (bank 1 sensor A)

Ok so my car just started throwing this code. The car still runs exactly the same as before the code. I've changed the camshaft position sensor already, plan on doing the crankshaft position sensor tonight and a case learn to see if that clear the DTC. Guess I am just looking for some input from other owners.

Ok, so I changed my timing chain-it was stretched so I installed a new double roller. The guide was broken also so I replaced that too, stayed with the LS2 style instead of going to the LS3 tensioner. I can't seem to clear this error code with Hp tuners. Anyone have any ideals-i followed the instructions-foot on brake throughout the entire process-rev the engine until fuel cutoff & then turnoff the vehicle. the error seems to go away then comes back. With the tech2 whats the process or do you just clear it?

I have never gotten the CASE relearn to work correctly with HPTuners. A dashhawk will do it very easily if you know someone local that has one.

Thanks Steel, I just found out that my cam should be set to 0, I put it back to where it was at when I got in there-2*. So that is the problem-it is still off by 2*, so i just wasted money on all the seals, gaskets, everything-and the mechanic that helped. Going back in in the morning to 0 it out and fix it. so far I am lucky that there wasnt any damage for the week that I had it this way. Not blaming anyone, but I have learned a lot the last few weeks!!!!!!
