Monaro vs. GTO interior trim differences

I was browsing through AU cars for sale website and lookin inside of those Monaro's, their dash trim is a different color than ours. It looks kinda like a metallic black, where our's is silver. anyone have a paint code for that??

It is better, but based on what they pay for those in Australia, it better be better.

Since my car is QSM I'm partial to the silver interior trim.
If we all had black trim we'd be wanting silver.

I think it looks off with the other steering wheel/shifter handle/parking brake trim still in silver.

Fixed! Gotta spell with an accent when talking about Aussie stuff.

Did they come from the factory like that, or is that some aftermarket job? If aftermarket, I say just go to Ace Hardware or "The Zone" or Home Depot and pick out some gloss black paint you like and paint the factory stuff for like $5. No need to pay for overseas stuff. But, then again, I do things the cheap way, and yes, it does sometimes look cheap.

Left handed people vs. Right handed due to the driving set-up. 90% of people are righties in the US. Random thought.... You ever say something and then think maybe you should just keep quiet? Yah, one of those moments.

I agree if I had to shift with my left it would be pretty ugly. I guess if you grow up with it you become accustom to it.

Ok, my Saab has one.
I didn't think any other cars had them.
It's kind of shaky but everyone thinks it's cool and likes to operate it.
The knock on them in the Saabs is that they're right above the radio so if it spills you're kind of screwed.

As far as the trim, I think this was a custom job too.
A lot of people paint them along with all of the other silver pieces in the GTOs.
