2004 TR/M6 Monaro front

I'm going through with it. 13K, not a dime less. I've held onto it ever since buying my corvette but realize I just plain don't need it and I want to do a lot of fun stuff to the vette now. No trades. No part outs.

2004 Torrid Red Manual Six transmission with black interior.

Modifications:

Motor:
K&N CAI
P/P throttle body/ Maf ends, powdercoated as well
Billet prototypes catchcan
P/P 243 heads with manley stainless steel/backcut valves
PRC dual valve springs (less then 3000 miles)
SSHT Cam kit including hardened pushrods
SLP underdrive pulley
Kooks 1 7/8 headers with catted mids (less then 500 miles)
SLP LMII exhaust (less then 500 miles)
Car put down 420 HP and 400 ft lbs in Phoenix Arizona heat, tuned by NicD a respected member on this board.

Suspension:
05-06 GTO brake upgrade using Russell stainless braided lines, hawk HPS pads, and DBA rotors
SLP rear sway bar
Pedders 1/2 in 3/8 drop springs
Koni adjustable shocks/struts
Every single bushing has been replaced with polyurethane replacements.
BMR Strut tower bar

Transmission:
Classic industries stainless clutch lines
LS7 clutch kit with a lightweight flywheel
GMM race shifter
Stock rear end housing with Australian 3.73 rear end gears and an eaton posi
Harrop rear end cover

Body wise:
Monaro front end conversion
Interior HSV door sill plates
Gauge cluster with activated shift light and HSV opening screen
Shaved spoiler, and all badges, shaved hood
19" VMR rims in gunmetal (less then 400 miles)
275/30/19 rear tires, 235/35/19 front tires - Sumitomo HTRZ III (less then 400 miles)
Tinted windows
VX tailights
Low/Fog HID conversion, led driving lights

This car runs and drives flawlessly. I give the exterior a 10/10 due to it being a pretty recent conversion and when that was done I had every single rock chip or flaw taken out and the car has been resprayed save the roof.

The interior is an 8/10. The only flaw is some where on the drivers seat where my fat *** slides across it. Its not bad, but I feel it should be mentioned.

The bad: 114,000 miles. Meticulously cared for, all the right fluids at the right intervals, well thought out modifications, and the car will serve someone else for a long, long time without any hassle IMO. It mainly sits in the garage and I might drive it to work the random once in a blue moon or to a cruise night.

I know the mileage is high, but this is not a car to be given away. I have had MULTIPLE people tell me this car was exactly how they'd modify a GTO, it has also been in two calendars.

Car is located in southern Illinois near St. Louis

Thanks,

Caleb

I really love this car. It's all about restraint and good taste bringing out the best in our cars. I was relieved that you decided to keep it last time around. This was the car I secretly wanted as soon as my financial knots were ironed out. Guess I suck at ironing. Good luck with the sale.

Wow, whoever picks this up is getting a bargain. Yeah, the miles are high, but I know you're very particular about your car, and it wouldn't really concern me. Good luck with the sale, and stick around after it's gone!

You have no idea. I'm really OCD about my cars, especially this one.

When I went to pick this car up the license plate holes are pre-drilled from Aussie land and I didn't know that when I had the bumper delivered. I had the shop pull it apart, shave the holes, and repaint the entire bumper because I cant stand little imperfections like that.

I'm overly concerned with maintenance but I think thats why all my cars seem to run forever.

I might actually take a video walk around or something soon with the intent to sell in mind.

Look up "2004 Gto dyno, three inch exhaust" on YouTube and you'll find this car on the dyno with the Gto front end.

glad to know mine isn't the only high mileage Monaro conversion out there -- i'd ask the same for mine with more miles.

Because the roof was flawless and didn't need it.

The only reason everything else was painted was due to the metalwork and conversion.

Any where in Texas is a one day trip at most.

I've been extremely busy but I'll try and upload a video soon with the intention of sale in mind.

Also the linked thread still has pics but editing on my iPhone isnt going well so I will have to do that later on a computer.

Mine had 154,000 miles on it when I sold it and was still running strong.

One of the best looking cars on the site. I hope this goes to another dedicated enthusiast that will take good care of it.

I am just posting this: I have turned down several serious offers of 12,500.

My selling price is 13,000. No trades, no deals, 13,000 bottom line.

Thanks.

The car looks great, I think I want to do that with my 04 TR. Where can I find a set of wheels like that for mine?
