For some perverse reason I really like this. Wish it had been available when I was doing up exhaust - sidepipes were the ultimate of bad-ass when these cars were still being made.

Someone will be really happy with this time-machine virgin kit.

No you do not need special side skirts. You can use your factory ones. There is a picture on SPINTECHs website of a GTO with them on!

These would be a very cool basis too, to do up a Boss 302 type dual outlet side/rear exhaust, since everything you'd ever want is right there. Possibly involving cut-outs.

Hole saw or plasma cut a hole in the back, continue on 2nd imput to stock tips, and heh heh.

Man, somebody buy this stat before I get this stupid idea further in my head.

I like your thinking. Get a set of electric cutouts for the side pipes, then run stock 2 1/2 mufflers for a peaceful daily commute.

sweet. I bought a set of NASCAR boom tubes from Penske Racing awhile back. Haven't installed them on anything yet though.

It is a good price if it had the X or H pipe kit included. From the looks the X/H kits run 300+ bucks, am I looking at the wrong ones? All stainless or just the tips?

Can anyone confirm fitment for an '04 if I purchase the H or X seperately? I can not visually tell a difference, but was wondering about possible hanger placement issues between the 04 and 05/06. Other than that, I am *really* interested in this...

Thanl you for that. I called Spintech and they also set me straight. The H/X pipe cost to get to the midsmakes it a little prohibitive to me. GLWS though.

You have to get lucky and find the side skirts on the forum or ebay. I was fortunate enough to find both the DMS rear bumper and skirts a couple years back.....I still have yet to install them.
