We have lost a great member

I received an email earlier that Jason Sexton (JAVAN) passed away early this morning. I will post any funeral information once it is published. I suspect it will be in the Washington Post.

He owned a 2006 BOM M6.

We lost a good man,Friend and GTO Brother today. I wish I could have made it over to his house awhile back for the garage building party. Now I kick myself for having been called into work. Jason was a very good guy, would help You out in a minute. He loved car's in general but GTO's most of all. He kept us informed via emails or through Facebook and I will personally miss him very much.

One thing I would like to see is if and when we find out where the service's are. We gather as many GTO's together and roll up and maybe even in the Funeral Procession. I know this would be very difficult for some, but I think we could do it.

I don't even know what to say.

Last I saw him, we were at Carlisle 2011. Went out and had a few beers.

I still remember plotting with Zach an elaborate scheme to steal his CCWs at OTB

He wrote me just after the cookout, apologizing (can you smurfing believe that), that he couldn't make it and sent me a handful of cigars that we were supposed to share. I wrote back telling him it wasn't the same without him and that I can't wait to sit down and just bullshit for a while with him.

I have been garnering select cigars for him and a great bottle of bourbon to send down along with his own batch of chili that I was going to make for Thanksgiving for him.

I have no other way of putting this, this smurfing sucks and hits home very hard. I'll be having that bourbon tonight, you can bet your ass on that!

I don't know what the plans are, but if I can make, I will be there. I know Friday and Saturday are not possible for me because I have to be at work that day and they moved trick-or-treating for our community. If it is Sunday, I'll be there.

I am hoping something is going on Sunday as well. We will be at MIR all weekend for import vs domestic. Either way we will find time to stop.

I just received news from Ernie aka Red just moments ago and words can not describe how sad I am right now. I had been trying to text and call him over the last couple of weeks since we were supposed to be working on his house and just figured he was just resting up.I had a great amount of respect for him in and the strength he carried.

Very tough loss of a good friend to all of us!!!

Chris.... he was bummed he couldn't make the run to the burgh this summer, not just for all the great food and GTO camaraderie, but he really wanted to get you the cigars in the worst way. I think it would be fitting to flair one up in his honor tonight.

I talked to his Dad this evening. When the arrangements have been completed, and received, I will post up. I believe his family would find some comfort in knowing how many people Javan's life touched in a positive way. We all lost a good friend and brother this morning.

He was one of the most genuinely good guys i've ever met.
Shows and GTGs will never be the same without the BSing we'd do while he prepped his goat for another good showing!

I gave my goat a nice healthy rev for ya, J... I hope ya heard it!
