Meetup for Jason Sexton Funeral Service

According to Jason's Dad, he would like us to be there as close to noon as possible, so we can all park together at the funeral home (JB Jenkins Funeral Home). Directions as follows:

I-95 to exit 17 W Landover Rd. (Rte 202)
Proceed 2.5 miles then
Right on 75th Ave to funeral home on left

We will meet at the old Landover Mall Shopping Center. When you come off the exit, turn right at the first light into the shopping center parking lot. We should depart from there by 11:50 am so be at the meetup location 11:30 - 11:45 am. Confirm you will be there so I will have an accurate list.

Bill... thanks for setting up the meet location.

@ All... this is a memorial service, not a funeral. Jason's funeral will be on 11/12 in Rocky Mount, NC. Jason's parents are holding this service for everyone in the DC metro area to gather and pay their respects to his life and memory. Please attend if you can.

Let's get some people up on this, just remember this isn't a show. This is for a fellow GTO Brother, and Friend. We need as many people there as we can get. Even if you only roll in with us and hang for a bit to show our respects to Jason's Family and.him.

Yep. SK and the soon to be Mrs. SK will be riding with me though, in case you are counting cars instead of people.

I'm assuming we will go out to lunch as a group after the memorial service? Would be nice to spend some more time with you guys before heading back home.

There is a Bugaboo Creek and T.G.I.F opposite each other with plenty of parking and they are away from the shopping area.

I would love to be able to join you all for that considering how long it has been, but me and the woman need to be in Bedford that evening. So we will be blasting up the highway afterwards.

I know this is something I have been wondering. What should the attire be for this. I mean I usually wear a suit an tie, but this is a car guy. So maybe slacks and a shirt with my CCGTO jacket and hat?

Jeans and my GONE shirt seems fitting.

We are going to try and make the meetup but coming from so far away we might not depending on the trip and may have to just go right to the funeral home.
