VMR V710's or Holden Monaro wheels?

Okay so sometime in the future i wanna get a set of wheels for my Goat. I'm torn between the VMR V710's and the Holden Monaro wheels. Obviously price is a huge difference between the two but that doesn't concern me too much. Personally i love them both a lot but can't make up my mind as to which one I'd pull the trigger on. If you guys had to pick which one would you choose? Please give me your input

VS

This is how she looks currently

Right now i have the stock 17's which i don't care for. I plan on getting the stock 18's soon to hold me over for a lil bit

Those VMR's look gorgeous on an IBM, they get my vote despite the rarity of the Holden wheels...

That's a rough one. My advice is to save the money you would spend on the OEM 18's. If your lucky enough to find a set of the Aussie wheels then jump on them, they are super rare and will cost you a plenty. I love VMR's especially the 710's, if I owned the color GTO you do that would be my pick.

That is tough, but the vmrs you can choose different widths and offsets. Give it a cleaner look IMO

I like the 713s better but, I really like the 5 spoke look over the VMRs.

Two really different looks. One is aggressive and the other is more classy. If your plans are to stay more stock or convert the front, then Monaro. On the GTO front with a few engine mods, I'd go VMR.

1. Get 710s in gunmetal.
2. Decide you would prefer the cv8s and get them
3. Sell me 710s at steep discount
4. Profit (for me!)

I do like the cv8s but i personally could not justify the cost. 710s are great all around as long as you dont mind having the same rims as half of this forum... and i dont/wont.

VMRs on the left side and stock 18s on the right side is by far the most played out guy.

I prefer the factory 18s to the Holdens, especially when factoring the cost. I've got a set of 710s on order, so they get my vote. Hopefully I'll stumble across some factory 18s someday to run in the winter maybe.

Ha! They are not sold here unless you find someone that has some that they are trying to sell. Probably close to 3 large to get a set sent over from Ozzie land.

What does come kinda close, at least a middleground, are the 19" G8 rims. You have to have the centerbore enlarged to fit the GTO hub, but they look pretty good on our cars.

I say the monaro wheels. Simple and classy, plus it keeps your car from looking like all the other vmr wheeled goats.

Get yourself a set of custom spec'd Forgestars and come in less than than the CV8s. Pick your offset.
Some say VMRs are rampant but I have only seen one set of VMRs mounted up in person.
You can always go with 718s.... et50
