471 ls2...

So anyone know bout this big boy fittin under our hood? It's listed for a firebird but if its just a resleeved ls2 couldn't it fit?

Thats a whopper man, not sure how I feel about a 4.250 crank with a 4.200 bore, thats nuts man!

For a stroke over 4.125" you really need a tall block. Also, 4.185" is about as big as I would go on sleeves. So, 454 is a bit more reasonable if you want big cubes from a sleeved LS2.

15K there should be some sort of warranty, for that cash grab a ls9 from dealer with warranty

Talk about pushing an engine to the ragged edge of its existence. No numbers or data sheets (that I saw on there), it probably doesn't make much more than a 454 would, and you likely couldn't run spray on it, def not FI.

I guess if you're going with something that big, you wouldn't have intentions of adding anything to it... but again, pushing the block to the ragged edge...
