Need Help with breaks ASAP,,Please

How is it going guys,,

My friend is replacing his 09 G8 GT front brake pads,, the thing is he only drove 2000 miles on them but he got a new DBA set of rotors and pads so he is changing them anyway.

My 05 GTO front pads are almost worn out so I thought I'd take his pads but I don't know if they'll fit

part numbers are different for the pads so I'm guessing no, but I'm not 100 percent. Someone will probably chime in shortly.

Also its not recoomended to re-use bake pads as your rotors are different than his. even if the same size it would take a bit to break in the new pads and they wont have the same "form" as your rotors. If ya need pads try go name brand and not Pep boys brand ect....perhaps ceramic low dust. My 2 cents

Agreed. It saddens me when someone gets on MB and gets insulted. Didn't your mama teach you that " if you don't have anything nice to say, then just shut up".

It saddens me to see people that are so incompetent they can't find a simple answer that shouldn't be asked in the first place.
