Got A new P/B on Motor still Struggling on the Spray

I haven't been on the Forum as much as I would like Lately due to A new Position where I work.. I finally got A chance to go racing with Hardcore on Sat. A Christmas Present all in itself...

Got A new Personal Best on Motor!!! 10.90 @ 124mph 1.47 60'

Still working on the Spray.. I believe myself and the Mad Scientist ( aka Hardcore) are going to totally change up my Nitrous set up for next year.. I really just have to much coming on to soon for it not to just blow the tires away when my second Stage Kicks in..

On the 10.06 I actually Peddled her a little out of the whole to get the car to stick and not blow the tires away.. This is on a 225 shot 100 at WOT and 125 on A msd rpm switch..

Still very happy with the car it is always a work in progress.. I made a few good runs and had A great time with some of my racing buddy's!! Can't ask for more than that for the start of my Christmas weekend..

Thanks again to Tony ( Hardcore ) for the time he spent trying to help me get the car to hook up and take what we were throwing at it. He is the still the only person that has tuned my car and a major reason I believe why she is still together for over Three Years of me Beating on her with minor changes..

Nice, do you think you'll have the nitrous setup in time for the shootout?

Nice motor pass mike. Hopefully you can get the spray figured out for ECS and get that 9 second pass.

Congratulations on the new PB! I know it is frustrating, knowing the 9 sec pass
is just at your finger tips.
You have the power , just making the right moves to be able to use it, is
difficult sometimes.

I remember having the same problem....we ran 10.0s for what seemed forever.
There must be a locked gate at 9.999.

Yeah man we sure did have a blast Sat....
your car was hauling on motor and riding out on spray... when you see a car go sideways a 100' out
and not too worry we got a lot of time before the shoot out

Don't think I would be in the 11's without your help Tony as always you help out more than I could ever ask and were helping me make plans to put a new set up together before we left the track knowing it would be more work for you also.. I couldn't ask for A better Friend and Racing buddy!!

You and Tony are on the right track. It's initial horsepower management that will
get your 60' into the low 1.40s or high 1.30s and you will then see 9.80s or better.

Your mph demonstrates more than enough hp for 9s.

Thanks Mike...things didn't go so well which I am sure you already heard from Tony. Always something of issue.

I am having an issue with the new stall and rebuilt tranny. I would guess it is a tuning issue I didn't have before. Looking at the primary table in HPT, when I launch it starts in 1st gear but shifts to 2nd at 8mph. No kidding. Then it gets to 23mph and drops back into 1st gear again and then runs perfect the rest of the way. Tony busted his azz all day trying to figure it out. I only made three passes and it did the same thing every pass. We have no clue unless line pressure is causing the problem !!! The only real change is the TC and a B&M shift kit added to the rebuild.
