Well I spoke to JHP Yesterday and they have Billet Shifters in stock.... Finally but I got a MGW-P and love it how much better shifting is the Billet and is it worth the switch? or just stay with the MGW-P

I've messed with a bunch of the aftermarket shifters for our car, I just ordered the Billet (should be here any day) beacuse...
1. adjustable throw
2. super clean and crisp
3. all shifts are on a flat plane instead of 1 3 5 R up and 2 4 6 down
Just my expiriance, but anything is better than stock.

Re: MGW-P or Billet????

I have the MGW-P in one car and the billet in another. I like the billet more because its just like stock but shorter throws and much more crisp.
But if I already have the MGW-P I wouldn't switch. Not worth the time and money if you ask me.

If you're happy with the shifter you have now, use the money on another mod.

I have an MGW-P with a ball shifter and I love the combo. 3rd is so easy to hit. Im sure the billet is great but I know from experience that the MGW-P will not disappoint.

Im sure you cant go wrong with either..I have the Billet and it is a great piece and is built like a tank. I have the old school billet with 3 adjustments and absolutely love it!

I've never used the MGW-P. Only drove stock, GMM, B&M, and the Billet. I bought the Billet years ago. One of my first mods. I love it. I know there are a bunch of shifter threads on here and Billet, GMM and MGW seem to be the top 3.

Agree. I have a billet which I like, but not sure price premium was justified. GLWD OP.

Keep the MGW-P and spend the money on something else. I can't imagine that another shifter would be as much of an improvement over another as any aftermarket shifter is over the stock one.
