I'm an idiot, sure this is obvious but what's the difference between the 11" and 12"? (Funny, an inch durrrr)

Flywheel setup, OEM vs Built, grabbing power etc..? Website shows 12" hold slightly less, but are also offered with every level

The 11" clutch is more of a race clutch. The disk materials are more aggressive and it has more clamp loads.
The 12" is a street friendly clutch. The disk materials are designed to be more street friendly.
The Twin and triple disk clutches have very good street manners as well.

Thanks
Chris

So for mostly a summer DD with minor mods you'd go with the 12" and 28/18 Lb Flywheel, or the 28/15??

Yes, 12" Level 1 or 2 would be my recommendation. A 28 lb flywheel would be the smoothest street driving weight flywheel. The 18lb will free up a little power and let it rev a bit faster but takes a little more rpm's to get the car moving.

Thanks
Chris

How are the level 1 (street) clutches on smoothness? I hate chatter and excessively grabby clutches. While I have fun with my car, I spend most of my time in the car driving in a relatively normal manner. How much more stiff of a pedal can expect from stock to say a level 1 12"?

The Level 1 and 2 are very smooth, great street clutches. About the same pedal feel as stock.

Thanks

Stay w/ level 1 or 2 for streetability.

I have a Monster Level 3. It chattered pretty bad when it first went in. After 1000 mi, it still squeaks on normal starts. It can take the abuse, though.

Edit: My level 3's pedal feel is 10-20% heavier than the stocker. Not a big difference to me, but could be an issue for some. I got used to it in a day or two.

I don't ever plan to do more than bolt-ons on my LS2, any reason for the Level 2 or would the Level 1 be sufficient? I know what the HP ratings say, but is there any reason the Level 1 would be a bad choice?

Level 1 would be fine as long as you don't do anything over mild bolt ons. The Level 2 will give you a little growing room.

Thanks
Chris

FPO,
It's needing one and just about everyone on the planet wont ship to me :-(.

I'm on the fence between the three and the four,I'm not concerned about numbers and more about abuse. This car wil be raced and tracked every which way possible. Power wise,I will add more as soon as I can get my hands on a power adder that works for me.

We can ship to an FPO, but there isn't any insurance or guarantee on the shipment due to past experiences. USPS doesn't have the best tracking system and have lost quite a few packages and nothing gets resolved.

The insurance guarantee "eh" as USPS handles our mail and tracking works to our hubs now too. I do agree the tracking is "meh" but it's been good to me so far. I have an local address that I know works because I just had headers sent to it last week.

Just ordered a 12" stage 2... slave cyl crapped out last week, car needs a clutch anyway so figured it was fate. I was going to go with the LS7, but I think I'll be happier with this. Can't wait!

Thank you uncle sam and direct-deposit tax returns!

As long as it is in proper working condition, no. Our clutches are designed to work with factory hydraulics
