Didn't get the cold weather but a new PB

11.156 @ 121.62 1.505 60ft

Earlier this week the high for today was supposed to be in the upper 40s at SGMP but it got into the 70s today by the time they started ... always my luck. Oh what might have been.

Despite this I set new PB's across the board for ETs in the 1/4 and 1/8 and ran my 1st ,3rd and 4th fastest times. Plus got my top three 60 fts and 1st 1.4x 60. The car ran pretty consistent. I wasn't really concerned about R/T. Still trying to find the right tire pressure and RPM to launch at today. I think I got close today in finding it .

Might go back down in two weeks for Pony Wars. 3 1/2 hour drive but really nice track and prep.

Congrats on the PBs, particularly the 60'. Do you know your RPM across the stripe? I'm starting to get interested in 3.70 gears.

I logged my last run, just over 6500 which is where my rev limiter is set. My max rwhp is 6000 - 6200.

The reason I logged is because I thought my 2-3 shift was a little early and may be hitting the rev limiter up top. Shift at 2-3 was in the 5900 range. This tune didn't hadn't been adjusted at the track yet. Going to bump the rev limiter up some and change the 2-3 shift point.

Thanks. I was hoping you two would be there also. Any chance you two are heading over for Pony Wars on the 9th. Probably going to be a zoo but sounded like a good time.

I think these are shake down passes, it will go a lot quicker with that engine.
Heck I was only running 11.4's when I first fitted the LS3, practice and tuning the gear shifts will make a big difference.

We wanted to see if cutouts would add anything and took the exhaust and mids off for some pulls on the dyno. Didn't gain a thing. So no.
