Pics of my Super 40 Mufflers w/stock tips

Sorry, I don't have anything to record a movie or sound, but I do have pics of what the 2.5" Super 40 mufflers look like on the stock cat-back. Everything appears stock from all angles, unless you are directly underneath the car. The tail pipes and tips are exactly in stock location, I took measurements before and after, and they are exactly the same position as stock. I am very happy with the mufflers and the work.

Nice, I had originally bought those for my 04, but they were off by 1/2 inch on the passenger side and would have thrown off the pipes from the muffler back to the tip. Now aren't the 05 stock mufflers oval or round and long in shape? These look like they are too wide and hang down too far, it just might be the angle of the pics. I bet they sound nice, I ended up getting the whole Flowmaster American Thunder Catback, that has the 40 series mufflers, and it sounds sweet with the Kooks headers. Here's a clip..............

NOTE: If you have a pair of headphones or good speakers it sounds much better, on my laptop the speakers are too small to give it any justice, so headphones come in handy.....

Sounds good man! Yes, the stock mufflers are more of a rounded shape, but BIG! These Super 40s have plenty of room above and below, no clearance issues at all. They actually hang ever so slightly lower than stock. Again, you can't tell if you didn't get right under and look at the muffler.

Cool, and it looks like you did a good job too, I'd love to hear what they sound like, and wait till you get some headers, it really complements those mufflers. And thanks for the comps on my sound clip......

I live in Frederick County. You should come to 75/80 Dragway in Monrovia tomorrow (Sunday the 30th). Me and a few other guys will be there, its the final race day at this track.

system looks sweet. ROK, that system you posted sound clip for sounds sweet. Guess the Kooks make a difference. Even though I'm in Cali and think I am gonna say screw it and go with LT's. Still torn between SW and Kooks though (coated). Once again, nice pics of system GTON8.

No $hit huh, lol, lol, that's funny, the dishes in my kitchen vibrate when I'm idling in the garage, it's attached to the house, lol, my wife says I'm going to break something one of these days. Thanks for the comps, I get a lot of people asking me what kind of exhaust I'm running, they even ask me at stoplights too..........
