402 numbers w/ cutouts

Went on the rollers today and made what I did when the motor was first built which was around 510/468 at RPM Motorsports. Run 1 was with the cutouts closed and run 3 was open. I was surprised really considering I lost a little power with them open when I was just heads/cam. 16hp/15tq gain from cutouts aint bad IMO.

Nice numbers but you should always ask for SAE corrected numbers as that is the de facto standard. In any case the car must be a beast with this setup... Any plans to take it to the track?

Congrats. That is a really nice curve. Don't like seeing those worthless peaky curves with peak power at the rev limit. haha

No secrets here. 247/254 .635 .621 114LSA. I'm sure I could see 550 with some bigger headers and a Fast 102 but I've been happy with the car so far.

My cam is smaller than most other 402s.. Should have done a custom.. It's a tsp 244/248 612/615 on a 112.. Maybe I'm missing out on some power.
But like I've said before. We should be a good run.

I'd call mine a mild cam really. Drives good for a DD. Hows the BOM coming? Still plan to swap in everything from the black car?

what heads do you run. that cam is a big cam. i ran a cam that big with afr 225's on a 408 and those heads were too small. went to a smaller cam and the car was alot faster.

No FAST for you yet?...I'm sure those heads and cam would love it...put you over the 500 TQ mark fairly easy (cutouts open). Nice numbers tho man, gotta love those stroker motors.

When I first started doing my build I found that gains from the Fast 102 vs LS3/ L76 intake manifolds were small. This was mostly on stock cube motors though. I run a ported L76 and wouldnt buy a Fast unless gains were significant. I'm sure there would be results though.

It's still stock. Keeping like that for awhile, going to change a few things on the 402. For more power.

I know where your coming from. The FAST gains on a low mod LS3 is mediocre at best. I'm currently working on a LS3 build on my cousins Camaro and we done our research and testing....The FAST made some decent gains over the ported intake...and the CFM on the FAST was unmatched. With your supporting mods...you know bro, now would be the time. Good luck with it in the future.
