I have the opportunity to do testing for Damian "ITSME4G63" in regards to his CTS-V kit he put together that is sold through Bohman Customs.
I am just now receiving the kit in the mail today, but over the next few weeks I’ll do a close up review with plenty of pictures step by step.
This will include but not limited to:
- Direct visual comparison of the Stock vs. CTS-V units
- Fitment and Install guide
- Wheel selection and what to look for specifically
- Track performance of the CTS-V units installed on the GTO on the infamous Nurburgring and ACI Vallelunga here in Italy.
Parts List:
- ITSME4G63 CTS-V Front 6 piston and Rear four piston bracket kit for the GTO
- 2006-2013 Z06 REAR Rotors 13.4” (340mm)PRT# RAYBESTOS-580407
- 2010 Camaro SS 14” (355mm) PRT# RAYBESTOS-580756
- Russell 692310 NOT 692320 Stainless Steel Brake Lines 2004 GTO
EDIT: So it turns out the 05/06 Russel kits wont work for the front because they are not long enough for the application. So you'll need to order the 04' Kits for all people looking to do this regardless of your year since they are a lot longer in the front. Credit goes to board member Miker for the info. - Thanks Miker
- BRAKE PADS PRT# HB649F.605 for the front and HB194F.570 for the rear Pads (these MAY be upgraded before the Nurburgring trip)
- I ordered wheels and they are ANDROS Spec D (Apparently a popular French rally wheel similar to Enkeis and popular in road racing circuits.) in Matte Grey 18x8 with a 34mm offset. They will be wrapped in 235/40ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL. Now granted I know these are not RE-11 or R-888's but we will see how they work. I was looking for something with better life than the R-888's and RE-11's with good street manners. So we will see how all of this works out once they show up in a few days.
If you have any questions along the way please feel free to post them as I go along.

Both together
This is the front kit as a whole with everything you need to bolt it on. Unless of course you decide to use the steel braided lines too.
Hawk Pads
Mounting hardware
The rear brake kit showed up today, everything appears to be there and looks really good ! The packaging was top notch and you could tell it was done by someone well versed in mail handling presedures, lol.
The rear kit has a few more brackets but overall look just as strong and robust as the front brackets.
Extended bolts for the rear calipers to be mounted.
