We had 14 cars today, this is a shot of most of them. Pick out your favorite, but mine was noticeably absent MP928 finally won the "Best of Show" in a crowd of >10, a new first!

Well even though I didnt really know any of you, I had a great time. If anybody took offense to the Vette shirt, I had too But really, nice cars, nice people, and great food. Cant ask for more. You guys mightve just swayed me from gettin another Vette!

Isnt there a saying about "Know Your friend's, and Know Your Enemy even better". I had to see for myself just how quick those Evo's are. How better to do it then "drive it like you stole it",,LOL.
Thanks Ricky for letting me try one out without some salesman sitting in the seat. They are some nice quick car's. I can see how they could become addictive. I know I could tear up some twisty's with that car.
But, I'm old school and cant leave the feel,sound and rumble of a V-8.

Thanks for coming out Doug. keep us in mind when we post up other meet's and get together's. I also hope You got enough to eat and drink. Dont worry about having a dirty car all we ask is to make sure it doesnt turn into a habit,,,lol.
Yeah, I love my GTO and if I had to get rid of the EVO or the GTO...... The EVO would go. Plus the wife cant drive a stick, and the GTO is automatic. Doouhh!!!!!!!!!!!
I do have more fun in the EVO, right now the record for a EVO IX in the 1/4 mile is 9.3 seconds I think, but that is at 44psi. Imagine a GTO at 44psi?
Pat, glad I could give you the chance to drive it to see what the hype has been about!!! Now I need the chance to drive a goat with a 100shot squeeze on it.
My plans as it is now for the goat, 100wet shot, cam call it a day. Maggie is my wish, that skank.

To tell you the truth, I'd rather be with the GTO guys. I've NEVER seen a Vette guy offer somebody to drive his car. Not once. Not even my best Vette friends will let me drive their cars. EVEN MY DAD! Since I've got the next 11 months to think about what car I'm going to get, the GTO has moved up. It was always a maybe, because I'd rather have a Vette, but my parents tell me the goat is much more practical. So we will see. And for those of you who were sayin "who's that tall guy in the Corvette shirt, with no Corvette?" here ya go.
Thats my dads 82, which he is actually delivering to my brother right now, bought it from him the other day. Its been completely rebuilt. New engine, trans, suspension, interior, everything (except paint). Mines the C4, its a 90, has a white top. Had a corsa cat back, and a K&N filter with a cut lid. Spent most of my money replacing broken stuff, not beefing it up. Had 197,136 miles when I sold it. Man do I miss it. Ok I'm done
That's a nice Vett. I always liked that body style, especially when its a convertable. Nice clean line's with the top down. But, You are right its nice to have a back seat,,lol.

Oh yeah, if I'm around whenever there are get togethers, I'll definitely be coming to hang out. Mia had a great time too. She really liked meeting all of you too. You're a good group of guys and I'll be more than happy to go cruising again.

The commit Dan made about best of show, I think was for "Freedom Fighter"(John). I believe that was a typo on his part and not meaning You I think. Oh, "Best of Show" received a sleeve of Noodle golf ball's,,,lol.
We did have a raffle for prize's for everybody coming out,,lol. Just some small prize's. After all we arent sponser's or anything,,lol. I will try to see about having this again for the BBQ or meet.

Didn't know anyone snaged a video clip also excellent pics as well. Very cool. Installed the GMM Ripshifter today. Man I highly recommend it if your thinking about changing out your shifter go with the GMM.
