The compressor is working with those pressure. Those pressures seem low your suction should be around 45psi. I would get a can of 134 and add some gas in until the suction line got cold and sweaty....

I used a brass plumbing ferrule slipped on and its worked like that for years. I used the factory nut too. I have yet to see a easier or cheaper solution.

The thinner gaskets are more expensive then milling your heads. You need new gaskets anyways though. My guy charges me 80 bucks to mill a set of heads.

Did you adjust the set screw on the TB to open more to get the IAC in count? If you did that and didn't adjust the effect area table it will make your base airflow numbers low.
