I've run the BMR for years. Don't think I'd go without anything. As for jacking with the skid plate, there is a jacking point directly behind it anyway.

Regardless of the clutch I don't believe it should be that low. I had mine measured and shimmed during my monster 2 install. It engages higher than stock which was pretty high.

That's what I was thinking but the service manual calls for replacing pretty much everything including intake gaskets. I've never really heard of anyone doing those but with 134k miles on the clock...
