New suspension

Finally pulled the trigger on some new suspension parts from Kollar. Super fast shipping! KONI adjustable struts and Lovelles lowering springs - mounting bush and bearing, SB links, bump stops, HW, etc.
Had some OEM front struts sandblasted, I fit the KONI struts, and primed and painted. They came out really nice. I’ll post some pics of the parts and install.
Stay tuned...

Yes. I got tired of the janky ride from the coilovers

I'm very happy with my Koni/Lovells combination. Word to the wise, you'll probably like the softest settings or close to it on the Koni's for the street. The firmer settings can be downright teeth jarring on potholes or road heaves. Great for road courses or autocross though.

Thx! Looking forward to getting it all done, new tires, and an alignment.

What color did you use to paint the strut housings? My Koni Inserts and new springs from Kollar should be here tomorrow. I broke down the factory struts today.

Mr. White!

Good to hear from you!

Started disassembling the buggy last night - broke my allen socket in the top of the coil-over while trying to loosen the nut...

I'll post some pic soon.

Uriel told me to get a Ford.

Take care!

Got the fronts all assembled and installed. First time I’ve done suspension work. Surprisingly straightforward. Just need to get strut-tower bar back from powder coat.

The suspension looks great! Free set of coil overs? I'll make the trip there I'm not too far.

I agree. The softest setting is just slightly firmer than stock

Thx! Finished "restoring" a 110K car about a year ago - paint and all. I don't think any one piece of the car has more than 5K on it...
