changing alternator pulley

has anyone done this. I know we have this stupid decoupler pulley (yes I know it has its advantages) on our alternators, but I want to dress things up a little.

since I can't find a decent looking pulley, has anyone changed it to a regular pulley, and if so, have you noticed any adverse effect from it??
