Side skirt rear backing and rear windshield lower molding

See attached. My right side skirt had this ripped off a few years back. Any idea how I can get this backing?

Also, I know gtog8ta makes rear lower windshield trim. Mine annoyingly keeps getting lifted by the trunk in the center and towards the left. Anyone else have this issue and does a new piece of trim fix this? Maybe I can glue my current one?

One way would be to find someone parting out a car that has one.

Contemporary Corvette in Bristol, PA might have that part for the side skirt. They also go by FParts on ebay. Lots of parts for GTO's there.

If your trunk is pulling up the trim, it seems to be a fitment issue between the parts and not due to the trim itself. You may see about trying to adjust the trunk lid a bit?

I may have a sideskirt cap in QSM. You'd need to get it paint matched, so surely check online first. I can check if I have a spare tomorrow.

LSspecialty in upstate NY has a few for sale on ebay. That claim to have all colors, for like $15, plus $5 shipping.

Great ideas, guys, thanks! Contemporary Corvette is less than an hour drive for me, but I will check ebay now.

I wasn't aware that the trunk trim could be adjusted. I'll look into that.

Send this guy an email:

As far as the rear lower windshield trim, its held in place with glue. I've seen this happen before where the glue lets go and does exactly what you're experiencing. As long as the trim is still OK, you should be able to re-glue it back down.

Lol i have seen that video before. I watch his vids sometimes. One of the previous posters showed me a fparts blue rocker panel and I reached out to the seller and he is listing the cap for $25 for me. I could get it for $20 from one of the other listings, but I dont think it would be IBM and it would save me the trouble of painting it.

Regarding the trim, thanks, I will try to glue if it starts coming up again. I pushed it into place but I think that will be a temporary fix.
