Tuesday: Installed rear rotors. Cleaned and lubed pad/caliper bracket contact points and the slide pins.

Wednesday: Bled brakes and cleaned/lubed the front brakes just like the rears. Fixed a sway bar bolt that came loose.

Today: Glued on the shift knob (Had been loose since the new clutch).

Now I'm pretty sure my input shaft is about to go. =/

fixed an annoying creak in the front brakes on my gf's gto. the trim plate (with the logo on it) delaminated from the backing plate of the pad. lubed everything up and reassembled and good as gold.

unfortunately i noticed the swaybar endlinks bushes top and bottom were trashed so thats on the list.

and now my DD has developed some weird issues.

Went to the shop and touched it. Got my GTO fix for another day or so, and reassured her that she would be out of the hospital soon. This crap is getting old.

Called Spartan Performance to schedule re-tune. Just moved from the AZ (no humidity) to Atlanta and suddenly developed low speed parking maneuver stalling.

Great shop to deal with.

I almost spun her around in the middle of an intersection due to my bald rear tires an no tc after the tune. Putting rear tires on Friday and probably a good washing tomorrow.

Washed, clayed barred her, 2 coats of wax, detailed the engine compartment. I have a slight scratch on the hood and I'm considering making an attempt to repair it. Otherwise she's not got a mark on her. I use one of those felt lined bra's which does not leave any rub marks at all but really protects the nose from the grit and small stones thrown by semi's in particular. I should say she's not unmarked. I lowered her and unless I am really careful backing out at the end of the drive my transition to the street is steep and I've rubbed the under side of my valance twice...

Determined where my vacuum leak was, replaced two rubber caps that had hardened with exposure to the heat in the engine compartment. Took her out and re-tuned her. My injector slope was too high, way to high. Back in the saddle and I now am carrying a box of caps in the glove compartment for instant replacement should this happen again. Next time I'm at the parts store I'll pick up some higher quality caps. Changed the oil for the up and coming season. I have 44K on the clock so I going to change out the tranny and diff fluid this summer.
