I had no idea were to put this build thread but since most of it is suspension related ill put it here.

Ive owned this car for about 2 years now and it has been a good car. The last 6 months it has went through a pretty major transformation. Let me start a thread and get you all up to date.

2004 GTO
M6
5.7
K and N got air intake

Magnaflow Mufflers

Mods to come
Full exhaust
Suspension updated.

Some pics from the day it was brought home.

Follow me @kissingerjosh on Instagram for all the pics as I did the small build

next up on the list is to wake this GTO up.

Ordered some pacesetter headers, offroad mids, and SLP cat back.

As I replaced the exhaust I noticed my center bearing in my driveshaft was gone. I was searching YT and saw Josh's car corner had a review/discussion on drive shafts. My luck he had one for sale.
We met up and I bought it. Very cool guy and very knowledgeable about GTOs.

I bought a new flange from the Driveshaft shop to bolt to my Diff. The driveshaft was a couple inches too long. After much searching I noticed some older shafts were too long back in the day. Not a huge deal. I had a local shop shorten it.

The exhaust went together very well. I have 1 small leak. You can see or hear it unless you see the small puddle (quarter size) condensation from the exhaust drip on the concrete.

Car sounded good but I didn't like how it drove.
I saved some money and decided to revamp the entire suspension.
On the list
Coil overs all around
Every bushing replaced.
new wheels

This might not sound like much but its a big task i never want to do again lol

Lets start
First thing is a needed a lift. I could not justifying have a 2 post as I really dont have the room. So I bought a quick jack. Top 3 best tool I have ever bought.

I emailed Kollar Racing and had him send me every bushing for the GTO.
Also scored a set of BC coils overs from ebay.

Front end.
Adjustable Radius rod busings
Ball joints
tire rod ends
Brakes
Lower Aarm bushing
Sway bar bushings
BC coil overs
Strut mounts

I have lots of pics if you want anything specific.

rear end got some new parts
Inner adjustable bushings
Outer new bushings
Coils and Shocks from BC
Toe rods
Brakes
cradle bushings

I cut out the outer bushing bolt that no one can get out with a half inch Grade 8. First almost perfect and actually fits in the bushing better.

Other parts
Diff insert
New trans bushing.

If you see something wrong I probably fixed it. I learned a lot from this build

Ive done so much to this car lately im sure I forgot some things.

Everything is together now and the car is awaiting alignment.

Front and rear fenders are rolled.

Wheel combo is
VMR703
hub ring
19x8.5 ET 40
19x9.5 ET 45
Hankook V12
235/30/19
265/30/19

Ill post some more pics and issues in this thread but for now its pretty much done.

Future mods is a full engine rebuild with a power adder and trans rebuild.

Sideways or not 703s always look so damn good.

Saw a 435i with CSLs on it this evening and thought the same thing.

"smurf I want those on my car."

Nice build and that quick jack - wonder if it'll lift it high enough to get a trans out. Guess it doesn't matter much since I have an M6 too and we can separate the bell from the gear box. Might have to look into this ...

Very nice build!
Now you got to swap out the brakes to CTS-V 6 piston front and 4 piston rear or at least upgrade to 05-06 brakes. :)
