I agree with you 100% about not liking huge rims, Welds or Bogarts would be my rim of choice.

On the newer cars, those small (15") wheels look kind of silly and how well do they clear the brakes?

On the same token, I think oversized rims look silly on most cars, although our GTO's seem to swallow 18 and 19's pretty well. The tiny sidewall can be disadvantegeous in some cases, but overall they *can* look good...

The 15's "Drag Stars" and such should be saved for the older cars, IMO...They look good on the 'velle though :D

i, too, don't like the big cartoon bling rims that a seeming majority of owners think is good looking. i think it's awful. 19 is about my limit, but i'm even more surprised at how such awful spoke and dish designs --of all sizes-- are regarded as cool when, really, so many modern aftermarket designs are just hideous and tacky, particularly the larger wheel sets.

i got 15" mickey thompsin et streets on bmw "bottlecap rims for trips to the dragstrip--i woulda swore that a 15" rim would not fit the front of a gto if you hadn't shown me the pic. Are they are truly 15"?
