Pedders SuperCars arrived today. Thanks again to Duckman @ Kollar Racing for the great price and super fast shipping.

Any requests for measurements or anything on these?
Bathroom scale says the fronts are 13lbs.
8kg front and 8kg rear springs come on these by default these days.

I will measure the front strut rods and post up the info here in the interest of camber mount compatibility.

Just got word Apex wheels are on the way. :)

curious to see how you feel about 8kg front and rear. i liked having different spring rates on the integra but havent messed with a rwd car for track use. little bit of a different beast.

i just received my coilovers today too so i plan to still send out an email to ground control tomorrow.

jealous on the wheels. which size did you go with? 18x9.5 and 35et?

8kg is pretty soft. Track duty you would probably find a benefit in higher rates. Less strain on the endlinks too.

what are you running?

I’m running 10kg f /14kg r. I’m tipping the scales at 3200lbs also. Plus the aero setup I’m on. You could play with it for a while. Corner balance it and see where you’re weight is and measure the sag.

thats light. be nice if they weighed that much originally and give a vette a run for its money while having 2 extra seats. i know i wont be going down the rabbit hole that far, my plan is just a fun DD that can be tracked if i want to.

ill live vicariously through you doing the the whole race car aspect

Yeah it’s a slippery slope. Still with the lack of meat In the wheel wells keeps it on the back foot with a vette.

My rates are horrible for driving around the block. It’s a track only car but it would be worth looking at a decent quality spring that’s true to its rate like the Swift’s. If you put an 8kg swift on it would probably feel softer. They are a lot more linear than the Chinese cheapys that are OE.

Same here; I'm going for a GTO "Track Pack/1LE/Z51" sort of project with mine.

I'm going to start a thread soon with my little build and all the information I've gathered. I've got multiple OneNote tabs filled with pages of research I've saved and multiple folders of saved GTO write-ups.

Might even host it all in a Google Drive for posterity and to share...

Yes, just a busy week. I hope to install them this weekend with either the rubber Pedders mounts or my existing poly Whitelines. I'll get measurements when I do.

I installed my Supercars this weekend and reused my existing Whiteline poly mounts. I was surprised by how they had already collapsed 4mm compared to the 55mm height of the new Pedders rubber mounts. I'll chock that up to my used Lovells front springs being too low and hammering the mounts.

The Pedders will sit on the shelf for the SS and I'll use these Whitelines until it's time for camber mounts.

As for camber mounts:
- I e-mailed [email protected], got nothing back
- I e-mailed K-mac, got nothing back
- I called K-mac around 7:30am their time and while I was told the mounts are compatible with everything, the prevailing sentiment I got was that the guy on the other end just wanted to get off the phone ASAP. This appears to be in line with the feel of K-mac customer service as found elsewhere. (http://www.hsvforum.com.au/showthread.php?16434-GEN-F2-LSA-Tourer-tyres-amp-suspension-for-club-track-day-sprints/page5)

I'm leaning towards going with Whiteline camber mounts and seeing if they are truly still in need of machining work or not. Plus, Whiteline actually responds with helpful technical data, so customer service for the win.

See attached pictures of my old Koni and new Supercars strut rod measurements.

It would appear, as one could have guessed, that the Pedders and BC dimensions are functionally identical.
Compared to the Konis, they're basically the same except for the threaded portion.

Rest of the measurements:

nice work glynn. the konis have a longer threaded portion? that means we should be able to get one that fits a koni and in our tower. granted probably have to cut off the stock bushing cup unless you get the camaro style

Konis have a shorter threaded portion and the little tab sticking out of the top. The Pedders have the longer thread with the hex hole at the top.
