2004 black 6-speed GTO. 143K miles and counting.

$6500 OBO

The Good
Engine and transmission are in outstanding condition
Exterior and interior were recently detailed
Tires have lots of tread left

After market enhancements (very mild/conservative upgrades)
Kooks stepped headers + catless mid-pipes
SvedeSpeed OTRCAI + Omega thermistor
Lovells 0-Drop Springs
KYB Shocks/Struts
05/06 Calipers upgrade + DBA rotors + Hawk Pads

Opportunities for reconditioning
ECM is untuned, dash light is on
A/C is half of what it was new
Power steering pump whines
Still on original clutch (doesn?t slip)
Differential fluid shas to be topped off every 2-3 years
Rear seat upper stitches are separating
Sagging headliner
Rear window tint bubbles
Dull paint on roof, and on top of spoiler has bubbles/chips
Steering wheel is dried out on top and cracking
Moisture gets into headlights
A/C knobs are slow to change vent configuration

Gonna be honest, that's almost $3,000 more than that's worth. I paid $10k for one with 70k miles, double the miles with significant wear is not helpful for value.

while the valuation may be what it is, one must take into account and value how transparent that posting is. Not just being honest but also showing how much he didnt just gas up and go over the decade hes had it.
Paulz28, I'm not interested but darn good job on the deets even though they may hurt the bottom line. Wish my P.O. was like this, GLWS.

Price updated to reflect market realities. I've more or less priced it under '05s of similar mileage, as it has the brakes and power of an 05, minus the hood and rear bumper / dual exhaust. Trying to "keep it in the community."

For us GTO types, some minor wrenching would restore this to full mechanical glory. You all know how easy these cars are to work on. I'm just a different point in life than when I bought the car and don't have time for that anymore. Surprised none of the folks with garage queens aren't looking for a 2nd GTO to putt around in / enjoy fiddling with.

New alternator and serpentine belt installed. All pulley surfaces and groves on main belt cleaned.
