wanted a different look on the gto, wanted some new wheels, since everyone basically has vmrs i decided to do something different that someone wont think about to do. ive seen them on g8's but not on any gto. i tried googling it theres a few cars that have those wheels on. ive read that the center bore has to be machined or either grinding down with some type of grinding tool. its very time consuming. i took my car to cars and coffee one day and everyone kept asking how i fit those wheels on and asked if the wheels were replicas. they arent they are oem. so i found a brushed set of camaro wheels wasnt really feeling the brushed so i took them off and sold them the same day i posted them to a fellow gto owner. i was really hoping to find a polished set since that was my goal. months later i found them for a really good deal. im hoping to finish this project by the weekend. i will post more pictures later of the center of the wheel to see the finished product. heres a few pics.. they didnt stick out or nothing it was like if these wheels were made for gtos. i had rubberband tires on it 235/30/20 but with this new setup im going 255/35/20 all around. no rubbing at all

I'd have to agree. For me, some 19's are ok (like the recent post with the widened c6 19's), but 20's just look too big on this car.

Makes the car look on the verge of either a Hot Wheels, like Nothubertjfarnsworth said, or something you'd see at a donk fest.

Maybe they will look better with more rubber?

*** haha didn't see they were 20's. Thanks Bluedream

^^^ummm yeah, they're 20's lol.

OP I was ready to throw out a negative comment until I saw the pics and I've gotta say I like the look and think the bigger rubber is going to be a major win. Props to being different!!

yea they were stretched as hell lol. with this new setup im going 255/35/20
Will a 27" tall tire fit without rubbing in the front?
Btw... Im not a fan of 19s due to tire cost but 20s should have better pricing. Still though... I love my stock 18s.
So true. The tire choices and cost of 19s SUCKS!

I have the camaro 20s on my g8. I often look at them when parked next to my gto and imagine the look. I think they are perfect on the g8. I do wonder what they would look like in a 18" size on the gto. Probably one of the best designed 5-spoke gm has made. I wouldn't do anything more than a 30 series tire though. Looks good to me.

I have Camaro 19s for mine. It looks like yours, but I have more rubber. I wanted to find polished too, but have silver painted ones. :)

Too big by a lot. The body just isn't shaped for large rims. Must ride like a tank. Your car, your choice. The design is great, just too big.

They look good. I think they look better on the GTO than they do on the camaro, then again not much looks good on the ugly camaro.
