I've seen reports of both 69.5(on here and from TireRack) and 69.6. Can anyone tell me which is right? I have to custom mill the rings to fit. The wheels I ordered have a 79.5 bore diameter, but the rings they gave me are for a 67.1 hub(they didnt have a gto size).

Thanks

.1 mm is just under .004" , The hub is 69.5, so 69.6mm would be the near perfect size to have the ring bored to.If your machine shop is able to, then ask for 69.55.This would make the clearance fit less than .002".

What wheels? Sounds like the same thing I'm doing (see sig). I measured my hubs and got 2.735, 2.736, 2.736, and 2.737 so they do vary slightly. 69.55mm = 2.738" which is going to be very, very tight. I gave my machine shop a tolerance range of 2.741/2.739 which seems to be working out well. I had to clean all the rust off the hubs, and smooth the sharp corners on the rings with fine wetordry. I will even try to match up the smallest ring with the smallest hub, etc, to get a nice consistent fit all around. The fit I'm getting to the hubs feels a little tighter than the fit of rings to wheels.
