Yes I know about line level converters and all that but I am curious if someone makes an amp or amp with adapter that can be wired in the factory amp spot as pictured here in this thread http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8150

Also where is the other amp located in the car or does it work from the radio only?

I am not interested in doing a 2000 watt system with 0 guage wire (been there befire) just somthing simple without having to run RCA's or power wires. Just something simple and better than stock.

Any ideas with this?

The amp in the trunk is sub only. Several small amps have high level inputs you could use and probably mount there.

But to have an amp back there that would power all your speakers, you would have to rewire (something you said you didnt want to do)

The six other speakers are powered via the deck itself, so to use stock wiring would require a HU swapout.

Hope this helps. Also check out miscreant's website for wiring schematics....its a lifesaver.
