Alright I have an 2005 A4 mods in sig. I have had the car since Jun and have 40 passes at the 1/8 miles and a couple at the 1/4. The time below is the best, but the last 20 or so passes are within a 10th or 2... do you think the car is capable of better without any additional changes...

RT - .005
60' - 2.013
330 - 5.600
MPH 84.21
1000 - 10.892
1/4 - 12.961
MPH 109.65

Thanks...

Your mods say weight reduction. That could mean alot of things. You should tell us your altitude or the DA when you ran your best.

The short time says you can shave a few more .10s off of what you have done so far.

you should be able to cut atleast .7 in your 60' with a good tire.

thats a tenth right there so youd be at 12.8

for every .1 you shave off the 60' you lose 1.5 to .2 on the big end..

Well as weight reduction goes I have done the simple; only dropping about 150 pounds out of the car. When it comes to track DA and so on I am in Nebraska and am un-sure as to the exact numbers. I know a tire, stall, and drag bags will greatly reduce my times, but I would like to drop a little more with my current setup. Seems consisted 1.9 sixties are damn near impossible on street tires, but I would like to know if any of you have done it. What you have done to get there consistenly with street tires... Tire pressure, length of burnout, etc...

1.9's can be done on street tires, 25psi in the rears, a strong dry burnout, leave off idle and go to 3/4 trottle off the line, this fools the tourque managment, and about 10' out go to wide open, of course track conditions will vary and so will the results from this but it has worked for me.:gears:
