I’m looking at running an 18x5 with a 28x6” Mickey Thompson et street front. Has anyone attempted to run that on the front and if so, were there any issues doing it?

TBH, I don’t have a damn clue about some of these wheels and tires etc. My thinking is if people have ran 19” wheels in the front with tires etc I shouldn’t have any issue here, but I am concerned about it being too tall. I’m at a stock ride height. Anyway, TIA and hopefully after this conversation I’ll have some pictures to show off.

Dont see why it wouldnt work if it has the correct offset. I ran the m/t s/r's 28x6 and 27x6 on a spare wheel and a jegs 17".
Wouldn't do a28 in the front again as there doesnt seem to be a need for it.
Yea I’m getting slammed in the nuts on that there aren’t any Sportsman SRs 26” tall available anywhere. I’ll have to settle for the 28”. I don’t know what the advantage to running a 28” in the front would be but it seems to be the more popular choice on fronts

if you have a 28 in back, running a 28 in front would help avoid the dreaded ABS issues with running staggered tire diameters.

don't know how much room is actually in the front wheel house, tho... would suck to sit the inside of the front fenders on your tires over big bumps.
