My daughter just started her assignment there. She is a civilian working in LOGSA (I think that's what it's called). She called tonight and said there is a red 05-06 goat that parks at the very back of the lot.

I hope all the Alabama people are nice. This is the first time she's been away from Texas.

So far she seems to like it. She has joined a bowling league with her boss and co workers. Being in an actual work space instead of classes, and getting to work with the soldiers, has her really jazzed. They are treating her very well so far. The beauracrats are the ones she has issues with. Seems like some people think because they work for the government it's OK to be a slacker.

So, overall it seems like a good placement. I'll still worry though. I'm a Mom, that's my job.
