First pass out I smoked the clutch in 1st and from there out didn't have such a great day until my last run.
60'-1.952
330'-5.516
1/8-8.424
MPH-84.81
1000'-10.906
1/4-13.015
MPH-107.11

Not to bad for having a slipping clutch,Stock manifolds,Stock cats.
I was able to leave at 4000RPM on that run but clutch was slipping on the 1-2 shift.I can't complain,It did ok,now it just needs a clutch and my LTs.

You couldn't ask for a better day weather-wise today - you were so close to that 12.99 run...

Get those LT's & a good tune & 12's are yours under the right weather/track conditions.

Nice meeting you & NVigR8 BTW.

First,Yes it was nice meeting you Angus,How did you do later after we left.

Doc,tried to leave at 2800 first run and I guess the Nittos were too sticky and smoke goes the clutch.Don't know why, maybe the heat from the 45 min ride, maybe the heat from my burnout, maybe GM builds a POS clutch for a 3700+LB car?

I got in one more run during Test-N-Tune & missed fourth gear - YOU GUYS JINXED ME!!!
J/K :gr_jest:

Later on during the 4-8 Mustang Shoot-Out (bracket racing), the temperature dropped 20 degrees or so (down to 45) & humidity sky-rocketted to 77% from 31 - 33% earlier when you were there.

I ran a 12.95 @ 101.3, but I was on the brakes HARD before the traps because my dial-in was 12.95 & the run felt like it was WAY faster than that. :D
Good thing I hit the brakes, because I was .002 from breaking out even after braking hard. :eek2:

I did place 3rd in my class & got a trophy + $100.00.

All in all a great day!
