Last night at the track...
20A Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump set on maximum...

While idleing in the staging lane, car stalls out and will not restart. I eventually find the problem to be a blown 15A fuel pump fuse. I turn the BAP down to 1/2 and replace the fuse. No more ploblems with the fuse however could not make a full pass due to lean conditions. I plan on adding a Walbro 225, but anyone ever blow this fuse while running a BAP?

If you're running a 20A boost a pump in addition to the existing fuel pump load on the same 15A fuse I wouldn't be surprised.

Why not run a relay off the fuel pump circuit to turn on the boost a pump? You could run the main boost a pump power line off the battery via a direct 20A fused line.

Thank you
You're welcome... happy I can pass on another hard learned lesson. Fire is BAD and burned wire really stinks up the car :) First hand knowledge here... LOL

I thought that your BAP was already on a separate circuit from the fuel pump?
