Ok, someone has heard my crying!!

My dealer received a call from the DBC today, my car is on a transport from KC, to arrive tonight or tommorrow!!

I will have pictures as soon as it arrives, and I will share them with everyone here very shortly!! (sorry Topdown, it appears the race is over :)

FINALLY!

You guys let me know what you want pictures of or measured, I am here to serve!! I won't get the car for two days after it arrives, getting the windows tinted and need to warm the glass up! :drink:

Finally the Barbados Blue war may be over....I will hold congrats on your victory until it is actually in your hand!! (with proving pics)
:drink: :drink:
Wow, you are tough Tails!
Make sure to take the pictures in good light. I myself would like to see what the color really looks like.
Photo Tips

This will get you pretty close to good color, if you have Photoshop.

1. Take the picture under overcast. Not hard to do this time of year. This will eliminate harsh shadows and too much blue from the sky.

2. Have a pure white card in the picture receiving the same light as the car overall

3. Open the photo in photoshop, go to adjust levels, grab the right hand eyedropper (highlight), click on the white card, and save. You have subtracted the cyan cast from the clouds, along with most of the built in color bias in the camera, and the color will be reasonably correct.

Oh, bye the way. HAVE BIG FUN WITH YOUR FLIPPIN' GTO!!!!!! :bubbrub

Congrats.

We're getting closer to having our first Barbados Blue!
I shall drink the promised six pack of Schlitz in your honor once pics are posted!
You know, I might buy a schlitz tall boy and drink along with you, as I am so giddy right now!

Thanks for the photo tips as well MisterMike
I have seen about 10 Barbados Blue in all kinds of light but I guess that doesn't help you 2. Wished I could of taken pics for you guys but didn't want to take the chance. HD926
WOW!!! That's great Velo. Did Pontiac screw up again and ship my GTO to you (lol). I'm waiting for those pictures. PS skip the Schlitz and pop open a homebrew!

HD- did you see the picture just posted on newage? is that like the real color?
HD926, we didn't want you to take pictures and end up selling your GTO to make ends meet!! :)

Topdown, I can't wait! I am glad that one of can get some photos to the others to see. PM me your email and I will send pictures to you from the dealer if it indeed arrives tommorrow.

The attached pic of my BB Goat is pretty close to the real color. My avatar pic almost looks like Impulse Blue. The sun really deepens the color.

Good tip Mike... I've been doing some experimenting with pictures of my Barbados Blue Goat and it is kinda frustrating. As you can see by my avatar, my car looks more like Impulse Blue. Oh well, I like the pic anyway. :)
