The attached pic of my BB Goat is pretty close to the real color. My avatar pic almost looks like Impulse Blue. The sun really deepens the color.GTOJ said:Make sure to take the pictures in good light. I myself would like to see what the color really looks like.

1. Take the picture under overcast. Not hard to do this time of year. This will eliminate harsh shadows and too much blue from the sky.
2. Have a pure white card in the picture receiving the same light as the car overall
3. Open the photo in photoshop, go to adjust levels, grab the right hand eyedropper (highlight), click on the white card, and save. You have subtracted the cyan cast from the clouds, along with most of the built in color bias in the camera, and the color will be reasonably correct.
Oh, bye the way. HAVE BIG FUN WITH YOUR FLIPPIN' GTO!!!!!! :bubbrub
Good tip Mike... I've been doing some experimenting with pictures of my Barbados Blue Goat and it is kinda frustrating. As you can see by my avatar, my car looks more like Impulse Blue. Oh well, I like the pic anyway.![]()
