Just picked up this YJ last week. Also picked up some 06 tails and removed trunk badges. Let the real mods begin...

Lots of sweet YJs on here. Just not a fan of black stripes. Makes the car look like a taxi. Bright White looks the best on these.

My car is 1 or only 35 made in this combo and has 15,000 miles on it since purchased new in Jan 2005. Goes back in the shop soon to remove the Pro Products intake and install the new Holley Modular Mid Rise intake. also removing the P1 procharger and installing a F1 along with a custom hood.

Last post here was four years ago, so maybe it's time to get your cameras out again folks!!! Sorry for missing exhaust tips. Tubing for new ones is on order, it will be 4.5" black.

yellow,

Very nice car, amazingly clean. Job well done!
Only changes I would recommend would be painting the rear insert, washer nozzles, hood scoop inserts and the front grills satin black for accent, tinted front side markers and OEM 06 tail lights.

Does the hood not interfere with the radiator shroud cover when the X Air is below?

Nope. I tested it with clay. It has 1/4" clearance to the hood liner. Only place that is tight is front edge of the filter element that has only 1/16" clearance but still not rubbing. Actually, if not for that trey like recess on the shroud, it could be cut just behind the filter element edge to cover complete XAir air box.
And that is with FAST 102 which makes TB sit higher compared to stock intake manifold. Also, radiator is Mishimoto, lowered 1/4".

This thread makes me miss my old YJ. I'd actually love to pick up a well maintained 05 YJ someday.
