I have an 06 LS2 with a 226/230 .600/.600 112 cam, with headers/high flow cats. It smells really rich at idle, I asked my tuner if there was any way to tune that out and he said “Not without going in to open loop”. I just wanted to check if that was really the case. It doesn’t bother me specifically but it does bother my wife and I don’t really like how it could attract the wrong kind of attention. I’m starting to consider going down to something without overlap (got my eye on BTR’s stage 1 223/230 .610/.573 115).
