The last time I drove my car to a show I got stuck in a rain storm. Now the whole underside of the car has water spots and some splashes of dirt on it. I want to detail the whole underside before I put the car away for winter. Anyone have any good tips or tricks for doing this? Since the car is like new still, there is no oil or fluid leaks to clean, just built up dust and dirt.

Also, I noticed some of the bolts under the car are begining to rust, should I spray them down with something? Or just leave em alone?

Woah dude...is this a GTO or a Lambo we're talking about???

I think good old soap and water would be fine...maybe a mild degreaser to get whatever tar/road grime is on there...but you're talking about water spots??!! so it must be pretty clean to begin with. Maybe use some WD40 on the rusty bolts and a wire brush, then touch up w/ some rustoleum type paint??

Cool thanks for the tips. I know I am going overboard but I love the car, definately plan on keeping it for many years to come.
