Has anyone see the Holden Y Series 2 GTO interior?
http://www.hsv.com.au/cars/vy2/default.htm
If you look on either side of the radio, it looks as if there are cup holders.
I was looking for something on eBay and saw a GTO in TX that had this mod.

Does anyone know where to get this?

There is a HOLDEN/GTO video on youtube that runs about 9 minutes. It showed those cupholders and a guy operating them. The are stored vertically and pop out and spin 90 degrees.
Yeap, it's Top Gear's review of the Monaro. I remember seeing that and being like, "WTF?! We don't have thaatttt!!"

That is fantastic. I hate having a bottle of water in the regular cup holders it makes shifting awkward

Now I just need to find out where to get it. Should be an easy mod.

Well I just got off the phone with the guys at JHP and they are actually looking at possibly doing something like this for the GTO. They said they would chime in on this thread in the next day or two about there progress.:turbonaug

Let's straighten this up: the part with cupholders and manual HVAC does not exist. The one pictured above is custom made. The person used to be a member on the board, but I haven't seen him around lately. And if somebody still doesn't know it yet, Holden/Monaro right-hand drive unit will not fit our cars. The unit which will fit our car is only available with climate control and comes in different color from our interior. And that's what JHP have been working on (the climate control version).

This is just a chop job. He took the GTO center piece and cut it up and inserted the cupholder portions of the Monaro center piece and then covered the cuts with chrome tape. Looks tacky IMHO. He also added Heated Seats.

All I can say is......Look At The Size Of That Trunk!!!
+1, us crash requirements blow..... i would take my chances with the car blowing up if i could have a bigger trunk

yeah those cup holders are sweet, its a pain in the rear end to shift when you have a big gulp in the cup holder
