Scary weak :(
Puny 2" diameter and rubber mounts at each end instead of u-joints. I think these will be the first driveline part to break, way before we ever have any CV or diff problems.

Maybe that was GM's point. Cheaper to replace the drive shaft then the rear end.

My brother-in-law has a BMW M5, I took him for a ride in my new GTO and went through the gears. He admitted that the GTO was as fast as, or faster than, the M5. For what it's worth........

I think its a big mistake for these LS1's to be ran the way there being ran.
but what do i know..there needs to be a break in period..
but I can't wait till i get one at the track will be fun to see what these
things can do..and god forbid I catch on on the street.
