This one:

It looks fairly similar to the MavMan splitter but costs less and is more readily available. :D

Curious about the quality and the fit.

@Juniorss isnt that the JJs splitter that the dudes always scamming people with and never sending?
EOS is a pretty big place with exposure across their own website and ebay so I don't think they are scammers. Can't speak to any resellers that sell the EOS splitter.

I'm not 100% sure but I know I see their name thrown around a lot in the Corvette world and people say they have good customer service, so I doubt its the same guy.

If their website is any indication, they are much heavier in the Corvette supplies than anything else. Looks like they are a big place with lots of volume. Just don't know if they make quality stuff or not. They have a 30 day return policy (buyer pays return shipping of course) so it might be a small gamble to try one but I'd rather know going in if my chances are good at getting a quality product in the first place.

They are cheap for a reason.

MavMan splitter is carbon fiber. Its expensive cause its good quality and takes time which often pisses people off because they are use to mass produced shit.

EOS / southerncarparts / insert the other 15 store names they use sell nice looking junk.

I know because I bought their "carbon fiber" splitter for my Camaro. Its fiber glass with a single layer of low quality carbon fiber on top. So yeah on a technicality they are correct, but the moment ANYTHING touches it, it will spider crack like regular fiberglass.

You get what you pay for, but I'm not gonna judge. You do you.
I'm just spreading the knowledge nobody gave me when I went looking for an alternative to MavMan or Anderson Composites.

Which is why I'm asking the question and seeking others' experiences.

I honestly don't care if it is carbon fiber or not. If it was just straight up fiberglass that would be fine by me assuming it was a quality piece and fit properly. Regardless of what I get, I may just paint it anyway so the CF aspect, real or not, is not really an important aspect for me.

As listed though the GTO lip is carbon fiber and polypropylene not fiberglass. So probably a carbon fiber overlay over a molded plastic piece.

The Mavman lip is very good quality, its been in stock for quite awhile now, and the fitment is perfect. I had mine wrapped in satin black as I'm not a fan of carbon fiber on these cars.

As an FYI though, the lip ships freight due to the size of the box. I remember it being roughly $250, so my total cost delivered was over $700.

Shipping (to me at least) is now $270. Total cost, including tax, would be over $800.

I like the idea of wrapping such an item. Helps protect it and avoids the CF look if that's not what you are after.

Yep, the shipping cost was a bit of a pill to swallow. That said, I was/am extremely happy with it. I'm not kidding when I say it fits perfectly either; It really is a perfect fit.

Merely sharing my shitty experience with E.O.S. products.

Its a piece that goes on the front bottom of the car and its going to take abuse. Having it be fiberglass and "quality" isn't possible.

E.O.S. only show their products from certain angles because they sell "skins" that appear like the thing you want.
Their products are NOT solid.

I continue to have a hard time swallowing the MavMan or JT Carbon prices. They look like quality stuff, just really pricey for what they are.

The owner and original designer of the EOS splitters contacted me directly and we worked out a pretty low price. Going in I know it's not real carbon fiber, as mentioned above not my top priority, but is carbon fiber laid over plastic. I decided to gamble a bit and order one and see for myself. It is not fiberglass as SAA experienced on his Camaro version so maybe my chances are better. Maybe not. And if it sucks, I'll simply return it as they have a liberal return policy and I paid via PayPal so I have some protection and leverage.

I'll report back when it arrives and what my experience turns out to be. I'm fairly picky about what goes on my cars so I won't just slap on some janky piece and call it good but I do want to see it for myself and give them a shot. Also, while EOS may manufacture it, the owner of Street Driven Performance designed it and brought it to market. I bought one directly from SDP.

Youd never receive it anyways.
