I still have not purchased the Helms Repair manual. Doe's any one have a reprint or CD pdf of the door panel removal procedure ?

I dont have a pdf but I have seen a door panel removed.

Other than the obvious screws around the edge......the defogger vent just pulls out.....there is a hidden screw behind the door handle that will allow the handle to come completely off.....and you have to pop off the red part of the door lock (near the bottom) to reveal a screw to remove the door lock.

After that it should pull up and off.

Thanks, that will do It ! I'm buying some new 6.5's today !

Yeah, this was posted before. Here are the pics.

One other thing.

After you remove the door handle, there is one more screw behind it.

2 things-
1. You can't link to a file on your own hard drive, it has to be uploaded as an attachment or linked to on a hosting site.
2. This is from 16 years ago, the OP is long gone.
