Yep, doing anything to lower the rear needs the camber kit for the allignment to be right. Is it required? no, but, it is to be done right.

ic. can you suggest a good camber kit that's cheap? the slp kit is too expensive. is it okay to mix/match different brands?

At Pedders we use eccentric bushes in the outer control arm position near the body rail. The Part number is 5403. It should be installed in the outer arm because the GTO arrives in the USA with a differential that uses a floating shaft on the drivers side. Using the camber eccentrics in the inner arm can cause the shaft to bind and the differential to grind if over adjusted. The cost is 138.18.
