All of them ...

Two stand out - 79 just because he was so dominant, but also 87 - it turns out he was absolutely flat broke and had to beg borrow and steal just to get the cars on the grid.

Plus the Torana A9X hatchbatch was the horniest ever car. As a 12 year old it left me sexually confused...

'79 for being so dominant and because my uncle purchased an A9X.

Going through each of the years brings back a lot of memories; loved the first ever in-car camera shots from the Celica.

We all know 1972 was won with little luck :)

"things had to go your way I reckon" - Peter Brock refering to the XU1

1979 was my fav, Brock and Richo led every lap, won by 6 laps and Brock set the lap record on the last lap to show up Alan Moffat who was commentating.

1985 Brock didn't win, though him and Alan Moffat should have dominated, one of my favorites.

My favorite bathurst is 1990;)

Granted half of Brockies bathurst wins were before my time i've seen every bathurst back to 1969.

A lot of people forget about the 72 race.....Brock was penalised a minute for a pit infringement but still won. Yes, Moffatt spun, but considering a 351 falcon against a 202 holden ...enough said. I have seen every race since 1970 and his first win in 72 was the 1 that got him fame. 79 was a walkfest........

Don't forget, Moffat also copped a 1 minute penalty so that evened the penalties.

As for 79, I was at the bathurst museum today (did a pilgrimage to the mount) and one of the things they have in a case is an old computer printout of each lap of 79..... It really stands out No5 in 1st for every single lap.....
