After all my damn questions, I finally went with a set of 1 3/4" Kooks, with cats and am having them coated by bob at PM. Awesome people to deal with, GREAT price, he is even welding in an extra o2 bung for me to run my wideband with!! Great buying experience, cant wait to get them!!!! Highly suggested!!!

Good choice, if every thing works out I'll have my Pacesetters installed on Tuesdays, and compare the gains to your Kooks, if I can get in the ball park, for less then half the price, I will be very happy.

the header difference won't make much if any HP difference but if you didn't get them coated the heat might. it's one of the things that get lost in all these "paper HP facts". coated and uncoated headers should make about exactly the same HP but the heat factor in a race could easily give the nod to the coated ones. dyno #s are a useful tool but they seem to be just bragging rights ...
